Established in 1988, Toyology is committed to providing our customers and manufacturers in the specialty toy and gift industry with the absolute best services. Our goal is to serve the children’s marketplace with the most knowledgeable sales representatives and assist our customers in their product selections, merchandising, inventory projections, and customer service needs, while providing vendors a strong link to retailers in our territory, making our customers their customers. We perform “in store” demonstrations, run “play days”, manage vendor relations, help train staff with essential product knowledge, and much, much more, allowing you to successfully grow your business with the best specialty toy and gift lines on the market.
Through the enthusiastic efforts of our 20 industrious reps, supported by our office and showroom staff, Toyology now covers the thirteen western states: California, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Idaho, Utah, Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, New Mexico and Arizona with three permanent showrooms in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Seattle. In addition to spending time in the field with our accounts on their turf, we feel that to best cover our territories professionally, we must also attend (and often exhibit), at all of the major trade shows in our area, and nationally, to keep informed of industry news and trends, maintain strong vendor and customer relations, and scout out the hot up-and-coming lines so that you can be the first to carry the must-have toys of tomorrow. We exhibit at the LA Gift, Seattle Gift, San Francisco Gift, Las Vegas Gift, and ToyFest West (WTHRA) shows, and attend Toy Fair, Atlanta Gift Show, ASTRA, ABC Kids Expo, Fall Toy Preview in Dallas and many other industry shows.
In July of 2000, we opened our permanent showroom at the LA Mart to further serve our Toy and Gift customer base. Customers have praised our efforts to provide an environment to view full line samples locally. In January 2003, we doubled our showroom space so there’s even more specialty toy and gift product to see! More expansion was in order in as we branched out into the great Northwest! In January 2007, Toyology purchased Rod Porter and Associates. RPA was in business for 35 years in the Northwest. We launched with a permanent showroom at the Pacific Market Center. In a few short years, we’ve expanded the Seattle showroom twice! With rave reviews from customers, our growth in Seattle continued in the summer of 2016 as we relocated the PMC showroom to the new Seattle Mart. This showroom is a must-see if you’re in the Pacific Northwest. Starting in 2017, we will join forces with A. Verrico and Co, completing the coverage throughout the Mountain States. We maintain the same philosophy that has been implemented by Rod and Tony and hope to be as much of an institution in the territory as RPA and A Verrico & Co. have created over the years, an honor to carry on their traditions.
